All our algorithms make use of the two-way elastic wave equation, which intrinsically include anisotropy and all reflections and conversions of P-waves and S-waves.

Our visco-elastic reverse time migration solution allows for accurate imaging in the presence of strong velocity contrasts causing complex wave paths. It also allows for the output of various imaging conditions to provide the geophysicists with additional information.

Our velocity model building algorithms are highly complementary to each other, because they are all based on the two-way elastic wave equation. The automated velocity model building tool rapidly builds a smooth velocity model from a simple starting model, or it updates the velocity model below high velocity layers. Our elastic full waveform inversion updates the smooth velocity model with fine details providing the smooth icing on the cake.

Elastic Full Waveform Inversion


We offer 3D Full Waveform Inversion using the elastic wave equation, which allows for accurate modeling of the kinematics and the amplitudes of the seismic data.

Detailed update of the 3D velocity model. Inversion for low wavenumber P-wave velocity models, supporting land and marine acquisition geometries.

Cutting-edge features include:

  • Propagation using the full elastic equation for accurate synthetics.
  • Isotropic, VTI and TTI media.
  • Preconditioning following geological layers.

Visco-Elastic Reverse Time Migration


We offer 3D Full Waveform Inversion using the elastic wave equation, which allows for accurate modeling of the kinematics and the amplitudes of the seismic data.

Accurate imaging for the most complex structures, including subsalt and other structurally complex formations. Land and marine acquisition geometries are supported, for 2D and 3D surveys.
